Decibel are working with a major record label to normalise the communications between the different parts and sub labels of the company.
Client: Major record label in Europe
Challenge: Improve the communication between legacy systems and publishing and recording divisions to ensure that the same data is adequately shared across the organisation – across all the sub-labels
Solution: A long term project, Decibel’s implementation people are working with digital and operation representatives in the business units, to gather data across the business (which is stored in a variety of formats, from access databases, to pdf documents) and to ensure consistency of data: example that ‘artist’ in one label corresponds with ‘artist’ in the others
Result: quicker routes to market, lowering of internal frustrations, better internal economies
